The Pool Cranes bagged 325 votes to beat rally driver Jas Mangat

The national pool team has won the USPA sports personality award for November for winning the Africa Pool Championship that was held at Lugogo in November at Lugogo MTN Indoor Arena.

The Pool Cranes bagged 325 votes to beat rally driver Jas Mangat who won the Jinja Rally, on his way to the national championship.

Mangat and crew driver Joseph Kamya polled 315 votes while bodybuilder Andrew Senoga finished third with 305.

The scribes commended the Cranes team for beating Congo Brazzaville in a world Cup qualifier.

At the first sitting by the new executive at Lugogo, USPA president Sabiiti Muwanga called for unity among the members despite the two month campaigns that saw him return to office.

Sabiiti also named Rita Aliguma as vice president for the second time and Johnson Were as vice secretary general while Hussein Wasswa is vice organizing secretary.
