Vision Group beach soccer team and Haris International will be the teams to beat as companies flock Lido Beach, Entebbe for the annual Corporate Beach Soccer Christmas Challenge Cup Saturday.

The Vision Group team was the most successful corporate team after the printing and publishing company won the trophy for keeps until last year when Haris International dethroned them.

Uganda Beach Soccer Association and the organizer PFT Events anticipate more fun but stiffer competition this year because teams are increasingly familiar with the game.

"I expect this year's championship to be different but more interesting and competitive. Teams have continued to learn about the sport. Many teams are more comfortable playing on the sand," UBSA chief executive Denis Sembuya noted.

Entebbe based Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has registered three teams with the hope of widening their winning scope but their team B will have a mountain to climb facing Vision Group in their opening game of the day.
