State House hosts national thanks giving

Hundreds of Ugandans have flocked State House Entebbe to attend the annual national thanks giving ceremony.

The colourful ceremony kicked off as early as 9:00am.

Invited guests including diplomats, business community, security, traditional and religious leaders attended. Guests sat in three well decorated marquees.

This year's prayer theme is from the book of Psalm 125:1 "Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion which cannot be shaken but endures forever....." 

As the guests waited for the arrival of the President, several choirs praised God with beautiful pieces of music.
