Premier League: Sadolin, BUL in Jinja derby

Nov 14, 2016

Hosts Sadolin will be inspired by their recent unbeaten run of five games.

Top tier local football returns after a two-week break, with Sadolin Paints FC hosting BUL FC at Kyabaziga Stadium in a Jinja derby.

The two sides will play on Tuesday on the back of respective wins:  Sadolin beat Soana FC 2-1 in their last game while BUL enjoyed a 3-1 win over JMC Hippos.

The hosts will also be buoyed by their recent unbeaten run of five games.

It's been mixed fortunes for BUL however: won one, lost two and drew two of their last five matches. They will be hoping to revive their campaign by building onto their last win in one of the most anticipated derbies in the east.

Last season, it was a tit-for-tat affair in their meetings - BUL beat Sadolin 3-0 at home (Kakindu Stadium) before Sadolin revenged with a 1-0 victory on home turf in the reverse fixture.

Sadolin captain Allan Olyek says his teammates are in good shape and determined to pick up maximum points at home.

A win will lift them to sixth place on 17 points, up from 10th place. On the other hand, victory for BUL will carry them out of relegation. They are currently third from bottom with 10 points.

There will be more premier league action on Tuesday. Onduparaka FC will host Vipers SC while SC Villa have a date with Bright Stars FC.
