Ugandan star Shafik Batambuze scored the only as coach Paul Nkata's  Tusker defeated AFC Leopards 1-0 to win the Sportpesa Kenya Premier League title on Sunday with one game left to end of the season .

Batambuze who earned a call up to the national team The Cranes last week, netted in 68th minute to help Tusker win the title on 58 points, four above second placed Gor Mahia.

He was joined by other Ugandan teammates; Martin Kiiza, Hashim Sempala and George Mandela to celebrate their second title this season.

Tusker beat Ulinzi Stars 1-0 two weeks ago to win the GOtv Shield title.

Coach Nkata and Batambuze are likely to walk with different accolades for the performance they have exhibited this season.
