Vision Group android app upgraded

Vision Group has debuted a revamped version of its app for Android devices on the Google Play store.

According to Vision Group's head of marketing, Susan Nsibirwa, the app, ‘Vision Group Store', allows users to purchase and read Vision Group publications on Android devices.

"The previous app, primarily a platform to buy New Vision and Bukedde has been upgraded to feature highly requested additions," she said.

The additions include an online wallet for purchasing publications, downloadable past and current publications, allowing offline reading and an advertising platform for mobile ads.

"If you keep it on, you earn loyalty points that can be used to pay for your subscription.  The more ads you view, the more points you earn," said Nsibirwa.

It will also have a one account access for online and app versions of the store.
