Will the school collapse? Can it be redeemed?

Prestigious is definitely not one of the words that come to mind when you see St. Leo's College in Fort Portal. And yet that is what it once was.

Several decades of negligence has taken toll on the once revered school of Toro sub-region.

Students as late as the year 2010, would travel from all parts of the country to plead for admission into this school. Not anymore.

It is now one of the schools that parents think of as a last resort.

As a result of years of derelict, the school student population has plummeted from 700 in 2011 to a mere 338 today. Will the school collapse? Can it be redeemed?

All details are in our spotlight story in Mwalimu this Wednesday.
