Adultery destroying holy marriages - Bishop Ssekamanya

Oct 13, 2016

“Fornication and adultery have destroyed the holy sacrament of marriage, more so in our Catholic Church..."

The Bishop Emeritus of Lugazi Catholic diocese, Dr. Mathias Ssekamanya has asked married couples to stop committing adultery.  The prelate also called upon all religious leaders to preach more on the dangers of adultery and fornication.

"Fornication and adultery have destroyed the holy sacrament of marriage, more so in our Catholic Church. Most of our people are poor because much money is spent on buying drugs, mainly for the sexually transmitted diseases. Let us therefore commit ourselves to fighting these two evils. We should also pray hard that the two evils don't escalate," Ssekamaanya said.
