The Woman MP for Kumi district, Monicah Amoding has donated two community ambulances to her electorates

The Ambulances were donated alongside other things like, kanta lorry, 500 plastic chairs and eight 100 seater tents worth unspecified amount of millions of money.

"These community ambulances are useful for the ordinary person who cannot afford the cost of the government ambulance at the health facilities.

Government ambulances are not user friendly because they consume a lot of fuel that a common person cannot afford. That's why I decided to buy these community ambulances for my people as government revisits the policy of ambulances", Monicah said.

Amoding said that she bought all these things because her people loved, supported and voted for her in the 2016 general elections. She said that the ambulances will assist the common person especially referrals of the mothers from their respective villages to health centers in the district.

She said that the truck lorry will act as a service van for the people of Kumi especially when they have functions, burials and others. The tents and chairs will be used in the same places.

"These are small things that an MP like me can contribute and donate to my people to save them from using a lot of money hiring tents, chairs or an ambulance services. We are going forward in terms of development and we want Kumi to realize fruits of new change of leadership", Monicah said.

The MP handed over the items to the voters yesterday during the belated Indepedence celebrations for the district.
