When children became MPs

With the excitement of being in the chambers and sitting in MPs chairs, pupils and student passionately deliberated on what they think should be done regarding girls’ education. The emphasis was put on unique challenges girls face like mensuration cycle, where they requested government to either provide free sanitary pads to girls or remove taxes on pads. This was done to mark the International Day of the Girl Child at Uganda Parliament on October 11, 2016.
