With a total of eight losses in the current season of the National Basketball League (NBL) regular season, JKL has continued to fall prey to A1 Challenge.

Despite their devoted effort to put up a commendable performance, the new entrants have had it rough with A1 challenge.

JKL has managed to win 13 games of 21 but lost all their games with A1. Peace Nakajiri a senior player in JKL explains that the continuous defeat is partly due to the absence of one of their best players Purity Odhiambo.

"I believe we would have done better in most of our games this season especially against the A1 Challenge and the UCU Lady Canons only if we had Purity here with us because she is the one person who knows the flow of the two teams." Nakirijja said

A1 challenge on the other hand was similarly humiliated on the court on Sunday when it was beaten hands down by the Nkumba Lady Marines 72-59.

This was also the second time they are being crushed by the assumed weaker team of young players.

Meanwhile in the men's category, Our Savior had a long depressing weekend with two consistent losses to the soon to be relegated Charging Rhinos (77-73) and the Pemba Warriors (71-65) on Friday and Sunday respectively.
