Anguyo three strokes ahead at JBG Open in Entebbe

Denis Anguyo's shot a second round three-under-par 69 gross to jump into the lead at the JBG Open at Entebbe Club on Friday.
The towering Kampala golfer who opened with one-over-par 72 and was joint third after the first round, is consequently on course to win his second tournament in two weeks if he maintains the same momentum in the decisive round due on Saturday.

Day-one leader Deo Akope slipped in the second round and is now joint fourth alongside Robert Oluba, Saidi Mawa and fast improving Grace Ocici, with atotal gross of 145 over the two rounds.
A cut was made after Friday's round with Peter Ssendaula, Silver Opio, Ronnie Bukenya and Vincent Byamukama making the cut to fight for the big money in the decisive round.

There was no rest for the golfers as they straight away headed to the Palm Valley Golf and Country Club in Kakungulu estate to compete in the 54-hole Pepsi Independence tournament where sh20m is up for grabs.
