Maroons brought to a halt the football party in Arua on Sunday as the Big League side registered a 2-1 win over home side Doves.
On Saturday Arua was set in party mood after Uganda Premier League side Onduparaka FC stunned record champions SC Villa 4-3 at the Betway Greenlight Stadium.
But Maroons made sure the party did not continue on Sunday as they scored a stoppage time winner to register their second win of the season.
Patrick Kaddu opened the scoring for Maroons at Barifa Stadium with a 5th header.
Doves found a quick equaliser from the penalty in the 11th minute to ensure the first half ended square.
With the game destined for a draw, Eddy Kapampa slotted home a 90th minute winner to spoil what would have been a perfect football weekend for Arua.
Maroons coach Asaph Mwebaze after the game said his side was able to contain the pressure from Doves to seal the win.
"There is room for improvement ahead of our game against Moroto United FC on Thursday," he said.
