Many children suffer physical, mental and sexual abuse. Physical violence against children involves inflicting pain. This includes beating, shaking, boxing, slapping, burning, cutting and kicking.

Children, did you know that the old Children's Act was revised and improved in June?
It is now called the Children (amendment) Act 2016.

It was revised because there are still many cases of violence against children in Uganda. A child is anyone below the age of 18. In Uganda, 56% of the population are children.
