It's going to be a long weekend for the Mulago Kings chess club in their quest to finish in second place this season.

Mulago Kings will be facing second table placed side Kireka  (19 points ) in round 11 and later a tougher opponent and table leader Dmark (20 pts) in round 12 of the National Chess League that resumes Saturday after a month's break. (Over the weekend Sunday 25)

The team has phenomenal players like Shadrack Kantinti, Amos Etoru, Richard Kato, and Joan Nakimuli who have jointly steered Mulago Kings to third position with (18 pts) in 10 rounds.

Meanwhile their opponents Kireka chess club are also boasting of fine players like Fide Master (FM) Harold Wanyama, Simon Gonza and Shakira Ampeire.
