Busoga mourns former acting Kyabazinga
Kaunhe made a big contribution to the unity of Basoga and royal chiefs, which led to the election of Gabula as Kyabazinga of Busoga.
Busoga Kingdom mourns former acting Kyabazinga chief David Kaunhe Wakholi at Busoga Lukiiko Hall.
The Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Gabula Nadiope IV, in his message read by the minister of agriculture in Busoga Kingdom Sam Nkenga described the late Kaunhe as one of the oldest chiefs in Busoga who contributed in lobbying the Government to reinstate cultural institutions in Uganda.
He said Kaunhe contributed to unity of Basoga and royal chiefs.
