Find the cause of Loss

Hair loss can come as a result of many things; one being family history, age, stress, poor nutrition and medical conditions such as diabetes, and others.

However, If you are perfectly healthy- not on any medical treatments (chemotherapy) that could trigger hair loss, and obviously still young and youthfully, with zero family history, but experiencing hair loss; then you need to check your hair care

Start From Scratch

How severe is the loss, is it a patch, or a whole hair loss. Best way to handle any hair loss is to start from scratch-cut it all off, and begin a new journey. If you do not want a bald head, go for full time braiding until all the relaxed hair falls off.

Relaxers

Once you start on your new hair journey be keen about the types of relaxes you use.

There are different types of relaxes designed to suit particular hair types. Most Africans have kinky hair types, but each has different categories, with most common being 4c (kaweke)-others include 4a, & 4b, and each type has special relaxer product for it. Re-relax every after 8week

Cut split ends

Every after relaxing hair cut the split ends. Split ends are like a cancer, it grows and eventually your hair starts to break.

Stylists

A professional stylist should handle your hair, do not settle for less. A professional stylist will know what type of relaxers to use on your type of hair; how to switch between treatments, and they are fully aware that splits ends need to be cut every after a hair relaxing session.

Diet

Eat food rich in proteins, iron, vitamin, A C, E, Omega 3, zinc, Selenium, & biotin.

Braiding

Braids or weave-ons are ideally supposed to last for two weeks, especially box braids. Keeping them for a month or so will cause your baby hair to break; causing your forehead to extend further in.
