Uganda Cranes to play Togo in friendly

Uganda Cranes will camp in the Togolese capital Lome as they prepare to take on Ghana Black Stars in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

FUFA has confirmed that the training camp for Uganda Cranes will be in Lome, three days before the match on October 7, 2016.

The training camp will climax with an international friendly match with the Togolese national team on October 4 and then fly to Ghana the following day where they will meet the Black Stars in Tamale.

FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein said that "All Uganda Cranes players summoned to the team will fly directly to Lome for the important training camp".

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin Sredojevic is expected to announce the squad at FUFA House on September 21, 2016.

Uganda is drawn in the same 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia qualifier group with Egypt, Ghana and Congo Brazzaville.
