The Mwirians lost 3 wickets in one over and this saw their lynchpin Kenneth Waisswa out and definitely the Jinja boys' plan of fielding first was working out well with Aloysious (2/13) in 4 overs and  man of the match Calvin Watuwa 2/16 in 4 overs at the fore as Isaneez Emanuel's boys lost 9 wickets in the first innings

In the second innings, Calvin Watuwa and Eddy Agaba's scores of   34 from 31 balls and 12 off 23 balls guided the Jinja outfit to 89 in 17 overs with four wickets remaining

Jinja SS had never beaten Mwiri in a semifinal since 2002 and certainly there is more to celebrate about this triumph.

"The boys stuck to instructions and I'm happy they knew how badly we wanted the game" said Habib Mugalula, head coach of Jinja SS.

Zephania Arinaitwe's knock (92 from 53 balls) fueled Mukono Parents win against Nyakasura at the Kyambogo oval to set up a fixture against Jinja SS.

Meanwhile the rain has distracted the final that should be underway by now. More details to follow in a while
