The Phantom 6 and 6 plus are projected to dress in stylish black, gold and grey finishing, and a “5.95” screen, lager than earlier version of the phantom and the Camon C9.

Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, Tecno mobile, will be launching two phantom smart phones in September, barely three months after launching the Camon C9 smart phone on the Ugandan market.

The Phantom 6 and 6 plus are projected to dress in stylish black, gold and grey finishing, and a "5.95" screen, lager than earlier version of the phantom and the Camon C9.

The phones, according to insider information, will hit Kampala streets and agent shops a day after the planned pompous launch in China.

Like the Camon C9, the average Phantom 6 and phantom 6 plus will also have a dual camera setup at the back, and an eye scanner for security purposes.

The phones which succeed an earlier Phantom 5 also come with improvements in size, camera strength and functionality to fit the diversity and dynamics of the changing mobile phone market.

Its dual rotating autofocus cameras at the back are perhaps the major attraction of the phantom 6 plus phone, while the phantom 6 will have just one 21MP unit at the back. However, both will have front and back cameras.

This puts them among the best selfie camera phone, as it enables the user to capture images even in the dark with the innovative dual flash on the front-facing camera.

Both phones, according to insiders, will boast of a battery capacity of more than 4000mAh inside a slim body measuring between 6-7mm, making it one of the very few phones with such battery strength.

The Phantom 6 Plus will also have a fingerprint sensor at the back which will not be available on the standard Phantom 6

The phones are expected to hit the market with a  X20 Deca-core processor,  a 3GB RAM, supported by an internal micro SD card storage with capacity of 16 GB to offer the user enough space to store as much data as possible.

The micro SD card, according to officials, can be expanded up to 128GB making them ideal phones for people working with bulk data, and requiring huge storage.

According to insiders, both Phantom phones will come with a USB Type-C port, a premium look with curves on the edges, metal frame, and will be lighter and slimmer than the Phantom 5.

Of course, for a high-end smartphone like the TECNO Phantom 6 Plus, one can only expect to see camera upgrades such as touch focus, face and smile detection, HDR, geo-tagging capabilities and the 4K video compatibility.

Insiders also have it that the new Phantom 6 Plus will offer users both manual and automatic control options, a totally Digital Single-Lens Reflex camera (DSLR) feature.
