The City Hall backed side saw three boxers maintain clean records in the league
KCCA Boxing Club justified their prowess after romping to another victory against Katwe to tighten their grip at the top of the boxing league with 58 points at Lugogo over the weekend.
The result gives the City Hall backed side a commanding lead of 28 points over second-placed COBAP after four engagements.
Despite being fourth-placed behind Police, Lukanga Boxing Club head coach Isaac ‘Zebra' Senyange has vowed to give the top clubs a run for their money.
"This is not a bad start. We are ready to gun for the title," remarked Senyange.
"The current leaders are there keeping places for us. They should remember that we (Lukanga) are East African Club Champions" he added
KCCA who beat Lukanga in the previous encounter saw flyweight Muhammad Kassim, bantam Nasir Bashir and middleweight Reagan Ssimbwa maintaining clean sheets in the event.
