Sh338 is being raised for the 7-yr-old to undergo a bone marrow transplant in the USA

Excel Soccer Academy supported their fellow pupil, 7-year-old Kacie Imran Buza with sh300,000 as their contribution to help him raise sh338 to undergo a bone marrow transplant in the USA.

The money was handed over to the mother Lynn Najjemba who lauded Excel Academy and urged others to follow suit and rescue Kacie's life.

Kacie was attacked by sickle cells early this year and his 10-yr-old elder brother Kelly Uthman has been identified as the bone marrow donor.

Najjemba made appeal on Saturday after receiving sh300,000 contribution from Excel Soccer Academy at Lugogo UMA play Ground.

Kacie a Daffodils Academy pupil has so far received some support from the parents of pupils of the school and is looking for more support.

"I thank whoever has supported Kacie and I appeal to the public out there to emulate children of Dafo Dils and Excel soccer academy who have contributed to save the life their friend," Najjemba stated.

"I hope that before the end of this year we shall have raised the sh338m to take Kacie for an operation," he added saying she can be contacted on 0704026888 for help.

Patrick Gwayambade the Excel Soccer Academy director said that they supported Kacie because her fellow children want to be with him and it is also part of their corporate social responsibility.
