Walukuba health centre IV in sorry state

Jinja town clerk Frances Byabagambi told council that while on his familiarization tour of the municipality he established the facility was in poor state and needs renovation.

Walukuba health centre IV needs dare renovations to suit standards of supporting and giving better service delivery.

Jinja town clerk Frances Byabagambi told council that while on his familiarization tour of the municipality he established the facility was in poor state and needs renovation.

The facility supplements services of Jinja regional referral hospital.

"As council we need to do something on this facility because it's really in a bad state, it accommodates many patients who are now also at risk of getting more infections while seeking services, "he said.

He said that as they deliberate the health centre should be re-planned for it serves the recommended population-.

He further told council that they have secured sh40m from the Uganda road funds for the designs of engineer Zikoosoka road which is supposed to be redesigned under the Uganda Support Municipal Infrastructure Development project (USMID) phase II.
