Night Cricket Tournament

Pak Stallions 156/5 Jinja Indians 102/5 (Pak Stallions win by 54 runs)

A repeat of last season's final awaits on Thursday night when holders Aziz Damani and Pak Stallions meet in the first semifinal of the night cricket tournament at Lugogo Oval.

Damani got the better of Pak Stallions to win the previous edition and revenge will be on the cards for the latter who edged Jinja Indians on Tuesday night's quarter final.

Stallions set a formidable target of 156 in their allotted overs, enough to keep the Indians at bay. They could only manage 102 off their 20 overs.

Roger Mukasa set the tone with a match wining 52 runs before Brian Masaba added 25 and Raheel Sarwar 34 not out for Stallions to secure a spot in the semis.

"It was a good game for us and now all eyes are on the semifinal against Damani which I think will be tight" said Masaba.

The final will be played on Sunday where sh10m and sh7.5m await the winners and runners up of the contest respectively.
