My boyfriend's mum wants him to marry another woman

I have been going out with my boyfriend for nearly 7 months. He is so sweet, always comes to see me gives me lots of love that I trusted him from the very first day.

He made me feel special just the way he was. Always texting calling etc. I have been to his house, stayed with him. I pick him up from his house.

During our relationship I couldn't understand the secretive nature behind his phone. He would always have it on silent and once he was using his phone and a female name sprung up. I asked him who it was and he said it was his mate's mom. But yesterday that number rang again, so I said who is this person and he first said his mom then his mate's mom then he said a girl. But she doesn't live round here she lives in Scotland. I asked to see his phone which he wouldn't let me.

So I told him to answer the call but he wouldn't. In the end he told me she was a girl that his mom wants him to marry but he has told his mom he doesn't want to marry her. If he doesn't want to marry her then why does he talk to her? Now I don't know what to believe or what to do please help?
