Sky VC attacker Kathbert Malinga picked the MVP trophy

Kenya women volleyballers proved why they are the most successful in East Africa and Africa at large when they dethroned Rwanda Revenue Authority at the NSSF-KAVC International Championship over the weekend.

Playing their third final of the tournament, timid RRA VC players failed to size up to the not only towering but agile Aspire VC players.

Aspire which is formed from national volleyball team players easily overpowered RRA 25-10, 25-18, 25-16.

In the men's category, sustainability aside, Uganda's Sky VC managed to make it to final to take on three time champions INATEK but lost to the Rwandans.

Ironically, it was INATEK's Ugandan attacker Daudi Okello who nailed the winning point.

INATEK won their second successive NSSF-KAVC International Championship and third overall (2013, 2015, 2016).

Sky VC attacker Kathbert Malinga picked the MVP trophy for a sparkling performance.
