Proline, newly promoted to the Ugandan premier league, were held to a one-all draw by Lweza FC at the end of 90 but went on to win 4-1 on penalties.

Gift Ali scored a free-kick in the second half to give Proline the lead.

But with 10 minutes left on the clock, Rajab Kakooza equalized with a well-taken free-kick.

Meanwhile, hosts KCCA lost 4-3 to Soana in spot-kicks.

Earlier, KCCA captain Denis Okot missed a penalty in the first half of normal time. But Bosco Kyakuwa made sure to put that behind them with an opener in the first interval.

After the break, new Soana signing Dan Lukowu leveled matters deep in normal time.
