Handball league tips off August 13

The federation will meet club officials this Saturday to brief them about the rules
The belated National Handball League is set to tip off on August 13th at Namboole.
Fred Barenzi the chairman competitions committee confirmed the development to New Vision in an interview.
"We agreed to tip off on August 13th and all clubs have submitted details of their players and we are now processing their licenses," Barenzi stated.
He also added that they will be meeting club officials this Saturday at National Council of Sports in Lugogo to brief the officials about the rules and also to give out the licences to clubs ahead of the league.
Prisons are defending champions for both men and women categories while other teams in the league are Police, UPDF, Nkumba University, Evergreen, Kakungulu and Ndejje University.
Uganda Christian University and Kyambogo University are the other clubs that wish to compete in this year's league.
