Muzamir Mutyaba eager to return

Mutyaba who was voted by the players for the Jimmy Kirunda Award during the first ever end of season KCCA FC awards gala, has been out due to an ankle injury.

The Jimmy Kirunda Award winner Muzamir Mutyaba is eager to return to the club's training sessions ahead of the 2016/2017 season.

Mutyaba who was voted by the players for the Jimmy Kirunda Award during the first ever end of season KCCA FC awards gala, has been out due to an ankle injury.

"The doctors say I can start training again in one week's time and I feel good. I know there many players vying for my number and I must work hard," Mutyaba said.

At the KCCA awards, Mutyaba did not only walk away with accolade but he also received a decoder from club sponsor Startimes and sh800,000 for his outstanding performance last season.

Mutyaba's return gives him a chance to fight for his attacking midfield slot with Tom Masiko and Paul Mucureezi among  others.
