He is currently pursuing a course to graduate as a fitness and nutrition supplement instructor
Bodybuilder Ivan Byekwaso has taken a break from the sport for the blackboard.
Byekwaso, who finished 6th at the INBA World Championship in Hungary last month, where teammate Mubarak Kizito won silver, did not return to the country after.
He instead relocated to Germany where he is currently pursuing a course to graduate as a fitness and nutrition supplement instructor.
Byekwaso is currently busy learning the German language and will only return to serious competition towards the end of the year.
"I will think of competing again after my group fitness instructor study program for a diploma in fitness training," Byekwaso said.
Last year Byekwaso defied odds winning the Mr. Universe and the AM World Cup in the US before finishing 5th in the Natural Olympia; events he should compete in again this year.
