Musa Tibakirana, the district police commander, says they have launched investigations into the matter.

"With the help of our sniffer dog, we have so far managed to recover the bishop's bag which was found dumped in the nearby bush," he said.

It is understood that four people including two security guards who were on duty on the night of the break-in have been arrested.

Tibakirina declined to offer details of the arrested people, saying revealing their identities might get in the way of the investigations.
