New districts: Odoi promises free and fair primaries

KAMPALA - The NRM Electoral chairman Dr. Tanga Odoi has promised that the forthcoming NRM primaries in the new districts will be free and fair.

The elections will be held next week Tuesday in Rubanda, Kagadi, Kakumiro and Omoro.

Odoi was addressing a press conference at his offices on Kyadondo, Kampala.

He also said the results will be announced immediately and any complaints will be handled before July 28. The national Electoral Commission will carry out nominations on July 29.
