Kenya Premier League side Nairobi City Stars football club have confirmed Ugandan Richard Tamale as their head coach ahead of the new season .

Tamale has been at Nairobi City Stars as an interim boss and has managed two draws.

He was confirmed after managing two successive draws following three consecutive losses the team had suffered before his appointment.

According to Nairobi based website goal.com, the City Stars chairman Peter Jabuya said that they appointed Tamale because he is dynamic and knows how to handle a youthful side.

"I'm pleased to make this announcement. We are ushering into the team a dynamic person, who is well versed with working with youngsters. I believe he will be useful to us during his time here," Jabuya told the club's official website.

Nairobi City Stars currently sit in 15th place in the league with 12 points from 17 matches.

Tamale is a former tactician at Entebbe FC and Artland-Katale FC. Tamale's first match as confirmed head coach at the club will be against Ulinzi Stars on Saturday.
