It's quite an amazing sight watching Ugandans do a theatrical act and pull it off awesomely. ‘Awesome' however could be an understatement for what The Misfits, a local drama group; fresh on the scene presented to their visibly enchanted audience at theatre La Bonita on Friday evening.

Acting a musical drama titled Think Like a Man, the group kept their audience engaged and smiling from the beginning to the end. It was an amazing cocktail of great stage acting, dance and musical performances.

It is safe to say that the actors and actresses did utter justice to the popular African American romantic drama series that goes by the same title and a similar story line derived from Steve Harvey's 2009 book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.

The production that lasted about four hours was entirely humourous, giving the revellers a full evening of laughter. The play featured experienced stage actor, Mathew Nabwiso, beauty queen Stella Nantumbwe, rapper Benezeri, Lynn Abarungi and several more gorgeous ladies and eye-catching hunks.

Each spectacular episode performed by the group was greeted with a loud applause; signaling that the audience was getting value for their money. One of the highlights of the evening was a captivating performance by Nabwiso as he sang George Michael's Careless whisper, an act that seemed to drive all the ladies in the audience crazy as they could not help but sing along.

The group closed their performance with Pharrell William's Happy and indeed the revellers walked out of the theatre happier than they had come in; counting it as an evening well spent and a perfect way to start their weekend.
