Super middleweight Isaac ‘Zebra' Senyange has promised to lead Ugandan boxers in a major professional boxing show in Baku, Azerbaijan on Saturday.

Seven top Ugandan professional boxers will be in action against top Asian boxers in international fights at Olympic Palace in Baku.

Despite being drawn against the hard-hitting Asian rivals, Senyange believes that they can deliver positive results.

"We are ready for the showdown. As a trainer cum-boxer, I am ready to lead by good example," said Senyange before departure on Friday.

Six other boxers lined up for the show are cruiserweight Joseph Lubega, superwelter Badru Lusambya, light middleweight Mustapha Katende, welterweight Hamza Sempewo, welterweight Solomon Bogere and Charles Mulindwa.

The show is organized by Baltic Promotions Group in conjunction with Azerbaijan promoter Neziv Agayev. According to Baltic Group manager Eddie Bazira, the event is a build up for other international engagements. "This is an opportunity to expose our talent for better fights," he said.
