The trend on Wednesday was food and prize giving as Muslim celebrated the end of the holy month of Ramadhan around the globe.

Among the many, Uganda Telecom (UTL) treated its staff to an Iftar dinner held at the company head office at Telephone House.

Mwanje Muhammed, the senior Radio Planning and Optimization engineer led the supplication and sermon.

He encouraged believers to maintain their good character, Zakat-ul-Fitr, and keep praying to Allah, in the same spirit as they had been doing during the Holy Month of Ramadhan.

The event that was open to all staff including non-Muslims was graced by the managing director Mark Shoebridge who expressed gratitude that the UTL Muslim fraternity is united and this is good for teamwork in any organization.
