Individuals continued to shine in the second edition of the Junior NBA.

Mashariki Pelicans’ Charles William Saverio nailed 14 points as his side beat Kisubi Mapera Spurs as the Junior NBA games raged on at Emma High court on Sunday.

Michael Kibuuka scored 10 for Kings College who despite losing that particular match recovered to beat the SMACK Jazz 49-43.

SMACK’s towering Benon Muteitse (6’3 centre) registered 14 points while Garang Ruai netted 20 points for Budo.

The tournament now in its third week will run for eight weeks, with 15 teams apiece being grouped into what is called the Eastern and Western conferences.

Following the regular season, the playoffs climax with the two conference winners meeting in the finals.
