During a Fistula awareness conference held at Kaunda ground in Gulu town on Wednesday Namakula empowered young girls and women of reproductive age in matters of reproductive health.

"Young girls who get pregnant are at a higher risk of getting fistula because their reproduction systems are not mature enough to handle the complications of childbirth," said Namakula.
