Fake it till you make it!

A Kenyan woman who became famous for photoshopping herself into other people's holiday pictures flew out to China this time for real on Monday.

Not being able to afford a trip to Asia, Sevelyn Kinya better known as Seve Gats inserted herself into snaps standing next to a plane, on the Great Wall of China and at a temple.

The images had hilarious consequences and went viral, being liked thousands of times on Facebook.

Nairobi businessman Sam Gichuru came to her aid, raising enough money from friends for Kinya to go on holiday.

Gichuru lobbied friends into donating cash for Kinya's travel to China, four-star accommodation, insurance and some pocket money.

Kinya has since taken to Facebook to share her delight after her maiden flight. "I am so excited to be in a plane" read one post with a picture of her seated in a plane.

She also posted photos of her at Doha's Hamad International Airport waiting for a connecting flight to China.

"The flight from Nairobi was good. This airport is nice" she said.
