Thousands at Mountains of the Moon rally

FORT PORTAL - Thousands of Tooro people braved the sweltering Saturday temperatures at Boma Ground to watch the Mountains of the Moon rally that is on today and Sunday in Fort Portal.

"It is an interesting rally and I just came to watch the ladies take on men," said Edith Kacu, a rally fan.

Meanwhile driver Desh Kananura, who won the first section last year, said he is out to repeat that performance.

"I won the first section last year and I look forward to doing so today."

But he will have to beat Arthur Blick Jr, Duncan Mubiru, Jas Mangat, Ronald Ssebuguzi and Christakis Fitidis have their sights set on the same goal.
