One-year-old seeks financial assistance for surgery

Dr. Twalibu Ariku of Uganda Heart Institute said in statement that Twine had a congenital heart disease with a ventricular septal defect.

One-year-old Seth Twine is seeking for financial assistance to undergo an open heart surgery in India, fortes hospital.


Dr. Twalibu Ariku of Uganda Heart Institute said in statement that Twine had a congenital heart disease with a ventricular septal defect. 

The patient requires about sh45m to cover medical bills, accommodation and subsistence for the patient. Twine is a daughter of Fred Twine, (self-employed) and Brenda Atim a social worker.

Twine told New Vision that they need the funds urgently to ensure that they take their daughter for operation.

"We ask all friends and well-wishers to come to our rescue and help us with financial assistance so that our daughter can regain her life," he said.
