Moses Golola beat Jackson Waina Yina 120-108

It was a sweet moment for Moses Golola as he won his fourth straight professional boxing fight beating Kenyan Jackson Wainaina at Mityana Sub County ground in a four round super middleweight bout.

After the fight, Golola also announced the launch of the Mityana Golola Talent Academy that he has left in the hands of the locals to finance and maintain after promising to equip the gym with the initial utilities.

"He was tough but I was superior. I did not retire from the ring but tentatively from kickboxing to concentrate on talent development on Olympic sports. I got to the climax in kickboxing as world champion and now I'm focusing on boxing.

After six fights I will start challenging for the national title, then the regional and continental crowns," Golola said after the fight.

He urged sponsors to join hands to promote sports in the area.

Former Bombers captain Rogers Semitala also improved on his career stats when knocked out Jawal Kalega in the third round.

All the undercard fights were graduates from the Golola Talent Academy search in Mityana and Mubende districts where he promised to pitch camp for a month starting June 25th.

He promised to traverse the country with his Golola Talent Academy before the end of the year.

65-year-old Costa Mwebe was among those who showed off Karate skills on the day.
