KIU 86 Power 98

Power continued their winning streak with a 98-86 win over struggling KIU Titans at YMCA Wandegeya on Wednesday night.

The tightly contested affair had several controversial calls that left both sides unhappy with the refereeing but KIU failed to keep cool heads and succumbed to pressure.

This gave Power led by former MVP Joseph Ikong, the opportunity to keep KIU at arm's length.

Ikong scored a game high 25 points as Paul Odong and Isaac Afidra registered 20 and 10 points respectively for Power to hand inflict a third consecutive defeat on the Kabalagala based university side.

Norman Blick scored 15 points, Geoffrey Soro 14 while Diego Angem and Suudi Ulanga managed 11 points each for KIU.

Elsewhere, KCCA Leopards managed a 59-49 win over JKL Dolphins.

Martha Soigi and Florence Kilume registered a game high 15 and 11 points respectively for KCCA while Peace Nakirija and Irene Nalunkuma managed 12 and 11 points respectively for Dolphins.

"It was a good game we won but some of our players need to up their game, something we shall work on before our next game," KCCA Coach Timothy Odeke stated.
