A1 Challenge registered a 62-48 victory over new comers Jovan Ladies in the FUBA women Division1 Basketball League at YMCA Wandegeya.

Elizabeth Bazira scored a game high 17 points while teammates Suzan Amito and team captain Vicky Ntale managed 12 and 11 points respectively to give A1 Challenge their third consecutively win.

Sandra Asiimwe managed 16 points while Sylvia Nakazibwe posted 13 points for the Jovan Ladies.

A1 Challenge team captain Vicky Ntale was however not impressed with the score margin.

"I think  the low score margin is because we were trying out new game plans and also gelling with the new players, but all in all this not what I expected," Ntale said.

Meanwhile in the men's category Yves Kalambayi and Steven Mwesigye netted 18 and 16 points respectively as Martin Kelly added 12 points for Our Saviour to defeat Sharing Youth 85-60.

The league continues on Friday with two games on card with City Oilers facing Falcons in the men's category while KIU Rangers entertain Jovan ladies in the women category.
