Gafford Ladies team manager Henry Balungi believes the two-week break the FUFA Women Elite League has taken will not affect the side’s performance.

The decision to halt the league was taken to allow some players take part in ongoing National Ball Games in Masindi.

Other players are doing examinations at various universities.

Balungi said, “The break will help us strengthen our team.”

Gafford Ladies top the Elizabeth Group with 24 points, one point more than Kawempe Muslim. She Corporates lead in the Victoria Group with 28 points.
