Court issues arrest warrant for singer Stecia's husband

Mubiru has failed to show up in court on several occasions to answer charges of fraud against him.
The Buganda Road Chief Magistrate's Court has issued a warrant of arrest against the embattled Stecia Mayanja's husband, Abbas Mubiru.
State attorney Emilly Ninsiima on Friday asked court, presided over by Jameson Karemani, to issue a warrant of arrest against Mubiru after he failed to show up in court on several occasions to answer charges of fraud against him.
It is alleged that Mubiru, a resident of Katale in Bunamwaya, obtained sh45.5m from Ronald Danze between October and November 2014, promising to sell him land in Wakiso district, which he failed to do.
