Ragga Dee's wife robbed at gun point

After being robbed, they ordered her to drive home very fast if she wanted her life.

Mariam Kazibwe, a wife to former Kampala Mayoral aspirant and singer Dan Kazibwe aka Ragga Dee, has filed a case at Police saying she was robbed at gun point on Friday while returning home.

According to police, the singer's wife who was returning to her home in Kizungu Zone, Makindye was stopped by three gunmen dressed in army uniform at Madirisa Zone.   

"She was put at gun point and ordered to come out of her vehicle," Andrew Kaggwa, Regional Police Commander Kampala Metropolitan South, said.

"I was ordered to surrender all the money I had. They searched my car and took all the money and my two smartphones," Mariam said in her statement.

She added that afterwards, the robbers told her to drive away.  She also told police that the robbers were travelling in a Toyota Mark X car, white in color.

Police told New Vision that the singer's wife reported the case of theft at Katwe Police Station on Saturday morning. The car used by the robbers was later recovered from Nyanama, off Entebbe road.

A case of theft is registered on Police File No.8D05/08/04/2016 as investigations into the matter continue.
