In the wake of the ever increasing consumer complaints on the quality and safety of curry powder and spices products being placed on the market, the Curry Powder Packers & Producers Association has banned the production of curry powder that contains color or dye, saying that some colours are found to be toxic and others cause cancer and kidney tumors, reports Elvis Basudde.
