Tobacco playground named after the late Abel Dhaira

Tobacco playground in Walukuba  has been  named after the late Uganda Cranes goalkeeper Abel Dhaira. The venue will now be called Abel Dhaira Memorial Stadium.

Abel lost his battle against abdominal cancer in Iceland where he plied his trade as a goalkeeper for IBV Vestmannaeyjar.

He will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Mayuge on Wednesday.
