The center will provide a home for the disadvantaged children and the youth in the country.

The Kampala Rotarians through their Rotary club of Kampala North and the entire rotary family in Uganda have organized a charity walk to raise funds for the construction of a children and youth center to equip them with entrepreneurship skills.

The walk dubbed the ‘rotary world understanding and peace charity walk' will be presided over by Robert Kabushenga, Vision Group's Chief Executive Officer as the chief walker and guest of honor.

According to Eric Byenkya, the president Rotary club of Kampala North, the money raised from the walk will go towards the construction of the center which he said will provide a home for the disadvantaged children and the youth in the country.

"This center will provide entrepreneurship development opportunities for the youth under the ‘Rotary Vijana Poa' an initiative that empowers the youth to get into sustainable ‘common' sense income generating activities," said Byenkya.

The theme for the charity walk is "Our children, Our, Youth", It will take place on Sunday April 3, in Kampala.
